I moved into Skyhouse Raleigh 3 years ago and it has been my favorite place I’ve lived. The building is in a prime location downtown and has some of the best views in Raleigh. Skyhouse has everything I need with great amenities and it feels convenient to live here. The staff are also very friendly and never fail to make me welcome.
I moved here last year from nyc metro and I had never been to Raleigh before in my life. I instantly fell in love with the city and its vibe. Skyhouse Raleigh had a big part to play in that. They were really welcoming and friendly. The building has really nice amenities and amazing views as you can see in the photos haha. I am a big fan of their monthly events like yoga, kickboxing, holiday parties, trivia nights etc and always look forward to them. Highly recommended.
I absolutely love living in this apartment building! The view from my apartment is simply breathtaking - I never tire of looking out over the city skyline. But that's not the only thing that makes this building special. The SkyDeck is an amazing feature that really sets it apart. With a fire pit, corn hole, and plenty of space to relax and unwind, it's the perfect place to spend time with friends and family or just enjoy some quiet time alone. And the best part is, the views from up there are even better than they are from my apartment!
But what really makes this building stand out is how safe I feel here. From the moment I step inside, I know that I'm in a secure environment. The fob key system ensures that only residents and authorized visitors can enter the building, and the fact that you have to scan the key to access specific floors in the elevator provides an extra layer of security. Plus, the staff here is amazing - always friendly and helpful whenever I need anything. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my decision to make this apartment building my home.
I've lived here for a while now, and while there are some positive aspects to this building, there is one significant issue that has been a persistent source of frustration: The elevator situation is a daily struggle.
I’m actually very surprised that nobody has brought it up here yet except for one person 6 years ago.
There are three elevators in the building, but it feels like one is perpetually out of service. Waiting for an elevator has become a live nightmare, especially during rush hours. And if you live somewhere in the middle there is a huge chance you won’t fit into an elevator packed with other impatient residents, and it's not what I signed up for when I moved in..
Additionally, it's worth mentioning that the current restrictions on the use of the stairs are quite annoying too. Residents are only allowed to use the stairs in case of emergencies, and any other use results in fines. This policy seems unnecessarily strict and leaves residents feeling like they have limited options when it comes to mobility within the building. It would be greatly appreciated if the management could reconsider this policy and grant residents more freedom to use the stairs as an alternative to the often unreliable elevators.
One more, there used to be a complementary service for bulky trash disposal, which was incredibly convenient. However, this service has recently been abruptly canceled without a suitable alternative.
On a more positive note, the location of the complex is convenient, and the amenities, when they are functioning, are decent. The maintenance staff does their best to address issues.
In conclusion, while there are some merits to living at Skyhouse, the chronic elevator issues have taken a toll on my overall experience. If this problem persist, it's hard to justify renewing my lease here.
Everyone from the concierge to facilities to leasing staff are excellent. I lived there for 1 year and enjoyed the building and community very much. Concierge welcomes you back every day with a friendly smile and the facilities staff takes service requests almost immediately.
Community events are excellent; from paint and wine nights to trivia.
Unfortunately, downtown had become a nuisance that I didn't want to be around. At no fault of Skyhouse as it is very safe within the building.
I’ve been here for ~6 months and I love it here! This is the best complex I’ve ever lived in, great amenities & location + the views from the roof are amazing (see photo, it’s not edited at all). I feel safe in this building thanks to the concierge/security and all the employees are super friendly and helpful and give great recommendations. They also plan cool events for residents (like yoga + wine, movie nights, trivia nights, popcorn in the lobby, etc) so you can get to know people in the building.
I have lived for 3 years in Skyhouse Raleigh. It is the best apartment complex in Raleigh hands down!! Kelsey Mallah and the leasing team are very profesional, dedicated and committed to provide the best service to tenants and future residents. I strongly recommend Skyhouse for anyone looking for a luxury apartment in Raleigh Downtown.
Living at Skyhouse has really been a pleasure. Here are things to look forward to if you are making this place your home …
